Cryptocurrency is all the buzz currently, and most of us know very little about it. Tony Margarit is a finance leader in the crypto & blockchain industry with 15+ years of experience working with start-ups and high-growth companies.

He started his career as a CPA and spent 5 years with a top-10 CPA firm providing audit, tax, and advisory services for privately held companies. Since then, he’s built and led finance teams in several high-growth industries, including SaaS, esports, and most notably the web3/crypto space. He currently leads the finance & operations departments for Electric Coin Co. (creators of Zcash) and is also the co-chair of the Blockchain Association’s Tax, Accounting & Bookkeeping Best Practices Working Group.
