Michelle Swanson is the Manager of Community Relations for Xcel Energy. She will be sharing the Xcel Energy story on how they are building the future of energy by leading the clean energy transition, enhancing their customers’ experience, keeping bills low and giving back to our communities. Xcel Energy is a leading combination electricity and natural gas energy company serving 3.7 million electricity customers and 2.1 million natural gas customers throughout eight states.

Michelle currently serves on the Board of Directors for VEAP, the Advisory Council for the Pacer Center, and on the Robbinsdale Chamber Board of Directors. Leadership programs that Michelle has participated in include the Humphrey Institute Policy Fellows program, Leadership Twin Cities, and the MN Chamber Leadership series. Michelle holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Geography from the University of Iowa. She lives in Edina with her husband. They have two adult children.
